Report a coin
How to raise something with us, how long it takes, and what a decision looks like.
Anybody can report a coin, an image or a description. You do not need an account and you do not need to connect a wallet. If you are reporting something that breaks the law, we would rather you told us than waited to find somebody with a wallet.

What happens after you send it
- You get a reference code on screen. Write it down. It is the only thing that identifies your report, and that is deliberate: it means we never have to ask you who you are.
- It goes into a queue with a deadline attached to it.
- A person reads it. Not a script, and not only a script.
- You get a decision, with the reason, if you left us a contact address.
How long it takes

These are targets, not promises. If we miss one, the case stays in the queue and does not quietly close.
What we can and cannot do
We can stop showing a coin here, in six different degrees, from a warning notice up to hiding it completely. The full list is on the Content policy page.
We cannot delete a coin from the network. Nobody can. If we hide a coin, it still exists, other sites may still show it, anybody can still trade it directly, and anybody who holds it still holds it. We would rather say that up front than let you find it out afterwards.
Child safety material
Send it here, with the coin address or the image, and pick the child safety category. It goes into a separate queue with its own alert.
We will not tell you what we did with it. That is not evasiveness. The correct handling of that material is preservation and referral to the authorities, and describing our handling in public would work against both.
If somebody is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are not an emergency service and we cannot act at that speed.
If you are a rights holder
Send the coin address, what the coin is copying, and enough for us to see that the right is yours. A trade mark registration number, a link to the original work, or a link to the account being impersonated is usually enough.
The creator can send a counter notice, and if they do we will tell you before anything is put back.
If you are writing on behalf of an authority
Use the Contact page. It has the address to write to, what to include, and what we can actually produce.
Notices made in bad faith
The form asks you to confirm you are acting in good faith. A flood of notices sent to attack a competitor wastes the hour that a real child safety case needed, so we rate limit the form and we close bad faith cases without action.
Checking something you already sent
Keep the reference code. You can look it up on the same page and see whether the case is open, decided, or under appeal.
The state of this document
This version has not been reviewed by a lawyer. The process it describes is the one we actually run. The version number stays below 1.0 until counsel has been through the wording.
